Tromp L Oeil~Fool the eye
A few years back we both worked at a local wallpaper store, and decorated a both at the "Home & Garden Show" here in OKC...we used the stone and brick wallpaper in the both! If I only had a dime for every person that had to touch the wall to see if it was real stone and brick...well let's just say we'd be VERY wealthy!! LOL Over the years that followed I hung the paper in many houses, in just about every room in the home! It works great anywhere and just simply is timeless! The brick paper can also be used alone, using joint compound built up around it, to get a realistic look of plaster falling off and exposing the brick under! We used that technique here in the store!
The "cracks" were made when the joint compound was still wet, then enhanced with paint!
In this picture of the guest bedroom, the "stone" paper was hung first, then the "brick" paper was torn and placed over the stone!
Ok, so here are the pattern numbers and info.
"Brick" paper is by Blonder, pattern # 30114...$28.00 double roll.
"Stone" paper is by Seabrook, pattern #FR5097...$30.99 double roll.
Now if for some reason you can't seem to locate it, here is the information of where we get it around here!!
Munger Paint & Wallcovering, OKC,
(405)787-6592...be sure to ask for Jennifer and tell her we told you to call!! I talked to Jennifer this morning to get all of the info, and she also told me that they will ship, and for orders out of state there is NO TAX!! Yeah!!!

Thank you for sharing, what a wonderfuljob you did!
