ALMOST FRIDAY!!
Yep, it's almost Friday! Which around here usually doesn't mean much. Just another work day. But this week is Fall break for most of the kiddos around here which means people have various plans for the weekend.
Hubby and I have our own plans for the weekend! We're heading to Mena Arkansas tomorrow morning for a Fall Foliage Tour!
It's not just the getting away for a couple of extra days (which is GREAT) that we enjoy. Or the cooler fall weather (which we LOVE)! Or the beautiful scenery (which you can't beat) It's the WAY that we travel that is our passion!
No no, not the path that we take but the MODE of transportation.
Whether it's through rain.....
Through the mountains of Colorado....
Through national parks............
Or right here in Oklahoma.......
We LOVE LOVE to RIDE!!!
Yep, that's me!! On weekends I'm transformed from the glitter girl that I am during the week, to the wife on the back of her husband's Harley! Complete with motorcycle boots, chaps, and leather jacket!
We've become experts at packing a weeks worth of goodies in our tour pack and taking off! Our longest trip so far was 3800 miles this summer. And no, we don't have a trailer!
I've never camped in my LIFE! But I did this summer! And....much to my surprise, I actually enjoyed it!
So much to do, so many places to see! This weekend we'll be staying in a Motel (thank goodness.)
Gotta go pack now! SEE YA!

I LOVE your style. I also have eclectic tastes and love the color you use in your decorating. It's nice to meet someone who loves jewel tone colors. While I enjoy looking at pictures of pastel decorated rooms, I always gravitate to jewel colors.

Have a wonderful time! My husband and I did that last weekend and the tree's had not turned yet but you should have a beautiful view!!!!
